my experiences on my first runway show as a designer. its chaos. I think having other people style your models is a big no unless you know who they are. Don't trust ANYONE!
I got to the runway prep late, because I had to work, got stuck in traffic and so on. big mess. My models that I brought in didn't end up in the right outfits, they didn't even end up in MY outfits. it was a mess. so when I got there, I had to fix that issue. as well as get ready as a model myself. even more chaos. I think if I had got there on time, there wouldn't be as much of an issue with everything, getting ready, getting my models ready etc.
but in the end it all turned out. the dress I modeled was not one of my own, bummer, because it was GORGEOUS I loved everything about it.
the hair and make up was awesome, the models were awesome, and the chaos cleared to put on an awesome show.
In the future, I need to be preped before the chaos happens if I'm going to model and design for a show. that's just how it has to be.
